Although the song by Sting is about barley the crop, rather than Bali the island, I thought the tempo particularly might just capture the sense of life on holiday on Bali. Lush, tropical and relaxing. Suggest, you visit but not stay in kooky Kuta. Seminyak and especially Ubud are more relaxing locations.

Mar 10, 2008 - Thanks. i thought the video wasn't bad considering it was shot using the movie feature on my stills camera! Bali is wonderful, particularly out and away from Kuta. Even a day trip to see the volcanoes and Tanah Lot, Ubud and beyond is better than sitting around the hotel swimming pool for the whole trip. But be prepared for the hawkers. The countryside is very green; the pace of life adorable.

Jun 4, 2008 - Exactly today two years ago we left Bali and fly back to Germany. It was a wonderful holiday, the best i ever had. We were in Nusa Dua and every evening in Kuta. Wonderful country, very nice and friendly people, i will never forget. I'm 100% sure we will go back sometime... Thanks Leo for this great video. Explains the feelings very good if you have to leave this place...
